It is Self Care Sunday!  And what better way to celebrate than my favourite smoothie for brunch after doing some yoga!

Today I chose a Cherry/Banana smoothie.  I love using dark fruits for my smoothies, not only taste delicious but have so many great benefits for your body.

Cherries give a dose of natural fibre, gut support, and have anti-inflammatory properties.  They also help boost heart health, post exercise recovery and may improve sleep.  So combined with a banana, which is also filled with lots of great nutrients and minerals they make a perfect smoothie for self care.

Hubby loves when I make smoothies - though he does not like my choices, so I made his favourite today too!  Check out recipes below for my Cherry Smoothie, and Hubby's Cocoa Banana Smoothie!
