Tiny Tea

Tuesday, February 8, 2022

A couple of weeks ago (or less - time moves strangely at the moment) I attended a Still Life Photography workshop.  It was a lot of fun, and I learned so much, and yet still so much more to explore.

I am enjoying starting to go through all my little knick knacks and collectables to put together small scenes to photograph.   The tiny tea set was a gift from a friend who brought it back from Swarovski in Austria over 20 years ago, and the small French religious book I picked up a while ago from an antique store.  Beauty being put to use!

Currently I am on rest, I injured my shoulder a few years ago and the past year of packing/moving/unpacking as well as the constant rearrangement of furniture (which I love doing) has aggravated it and have to have scans on my shoulder later this week to see how much damage I have done to my rotator cuff.  Not Fun!  I am not good at sitting still.

So thinking the blog will get a makeover, my portfolio will get some updates and I may even get more items in my Etsy store... So I guess resting isn't too bad if I can remain productive!

Aromatherapy - Today's diffuser blend has been Eco Modern Essentials Meditation Blend.. it contains - Cedrus atlantica (Cedarwood) bark oil, Copaifera officinalis (Copaiba) resin oil, Cananga Odorata (Ylang Ylang) flower oil, Picea mariana (Spruce) leaf oil, Vetiveria zizanoides (Vetiver) root oil.  I find it a wonderful balancing and relaxing oil when I feel tense.  And perfect as I do my yoga in the mornings.

Eco Modern Essentials are also having a great Valentines Day special.. check it out HERE

And now.. it is time to grab a book, cup of tea and relax before I sleep..

Till Next Time

Stay Inspired
